FORMAL REPORT: ECOROLLER DISTRIBUTION

As part of the Easter Convention 2026 outreach programme, 12 EcoRollers were donated to elderly beneficiaries from different areas within Msinga. This initiative was undertaken after observing the difficult living conditions faced by many elderly residents in the area, particularly regarding access to water.

The beneficiaries were: Busisiwe Ngubane (Mtateni), Melta Manyoni (Umhlumba), Ignatia Gabela (Ntanyana), Sanele Mchunu (Shayelweni), Dorah Mkhize (Muden), Dorothy Muthwa (Nhlalakahle), Nelly Ndlovu (Keatsdrift), Mirriam Sikhakhane (Mathinta), Eunice Chonco (Mngwenya), Elsie Zwane (Weenen), Bavumile Langa (Gujini), and Nesta Ngubane (Zwelisha).

In Msinga, water is often collected from distant sources and is not easily accessible. This places a heavy burden on elderly people, many of whom also care for grandchildren who are too young to help fetch enough water for household needs.

The purpose of this programme is to improve access to water, reduce the physical burden of carrying heavy containers, and restore dignity and better living conditions for vulnerable elderly people in the community. The recipients expressed deep gratitude, as these Eco Rollers will make it easier and safer to collect larger quantities of water at one time. Caregivers and community members also conveyed sincere appreciation for this meaningful support.

May God bless you all.
